Journey begins with free pickup inside Phnom Penh. Upon boarding you will receive a free Sunset Cocktail, a Cambo Cruise original. After departure, at approximately 12:00pm, a lunch is made from fresh, local, organic food is served that is prepped and cooked just for you on our boat in our stainless steel kitchens; never on land hours before, and definitely not on a rusty charcoal grill. No food is frozen or foreign. No fish from the river is served, ever. Salad, spring rolls, organic brown rice, curry, fruit, fresh bread, sandwiches, and a variety BBQ with Texas style BBQ and Asian teriyaki sauce is available. There are low-carb, vegetarian, vegan, and halal options available.At the bar, most any cocktails can be made, but be sure and try an original signature cocktail. Local and imported beers, as well as wines by the glass or carafe. Fresh, locally grown coffee beans are ground just before brewing to ensure fantastic espresso, and coffee.Cruising along the Phnom Penh riverfront enjoy the view from the upper deck or down on the main deck for a more cozy experience near the bar. Passing the Royal Palace, see the junction of the Tonle Sap, Mekong, and Bassac rivers. Up the Mekong River you will see floating villages and fishing families living on their boats. The trip to Silk Island takes about 1 hour.Docking at Silk Island you are a short ride steps away from the silk farms. Along the way you can view plantations and see village life. A modern pagoda nearby is also an active monastery. This is not a tourist attraction, be respectful. At the silk farms you can watch the intricate process of silk being made from larvae to finished goods. Tour guides will be provided.The boat will be open for food, drinks, relaxing or for using the facilities while in port.On the 1 hour ride back to Phnom Penh cool off with a cocktail. Snacks will be provided.The Cambo Cruise boat has 75 seats with a wooden Traditional Cambodian design with modern touches. With two commercial quality kitchens, men’s and women's toilets, running water from fresh water tanks, and a water filtration system for clean, purified drinking water. Hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction are our priorities. Feel safe knowing that the boat is licensed, inspected, and has staff that are well trained in safety and first-aid procedures, with flotation devices, safety equipment, and fire extinguishers onboard. what to expect

  1. Begin the journey south west through the South Downs National Park to Winchester. Then continue through the New Forest to Corfe Castle*. Next, we visit Lulworth Cove. Remember to bring comfortable shoes so you can enjoy a coastal walk. Our overnight stop is Exmouth.
  2. After a leisurely start, we will journey to Dartmoor National Park. Look out for the famous Dartmoor ponies! We’ll make a stop at the famous Clapper Bridge at Postbridge for pictures! We’ll enjoy a lunch stop in the market town of Tavistock. The old streets radiate from Bedford Square and offer shops for every taste and need. Your day will continue through Bodmin Moor, one of Cornwall’s designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as we make our way to the coastal town of Falmouth, where we’ll spend the next 2 nights.
  3. Today we make our way to Mousehole where you’ll have a chance to explore this beautiful little fishing village. We then continue to Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre*. We’ll then continue west to Land’s End, England’s most westerly point. Our final stop of the day is in St Ives, before we return to Falmouth.
  4. This morning we make our way to Port Isaac, the filming location for Doc Martin. Next, we visit Tintagel, legendary birthplace of King Arthur. Then it’s on to Boscastle for lunch, home to an unspoiled harbour village. We continue to Ilfracombe for more coastal views. Our overnight stop is Bristol**. This bustling city is a perfect overnight stop with numerous restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evening.
  5. Day five takes us into the Cotswolds, first to Cirencester, then on to some of the smaller villages. We’ll continue on to Ironbridge, a village perched on the River Severn. Our overnight stop is the pretty English city of Chester. 
  6. After a leisurely start in Chester, we’ll then head west to Wales to drive the Llanberis Pass and revel in the mountainous scenery. Snowdonia National Park is full of wild landscapes. We’ll also visit Conwy, a walled market town home to Conwy Castle*. You can explore narrow cobbled streets and take in views of the Thomas Telford Suspension Bridge that leads up to the Castle before we return to Chester.
  7. Today is The Peak District National Park. We’ll stop in the town of Buxton, then make our way to Bakewell. Another highlight is the stately home of Chatsworth House - set in idyllic gardens. We’ll spend our third evening in York.
  8. A day to explore York. You can choose what you‘d like to visit, perhaps York Minster*, or the Shambles. The day is free for you to do as you please with an optional walking tour.
  9. After a second evening in York, we’ll head south to Newark-on-Trent, which you’ll have ample time to explore. We’ll continue south to Cambridge, a famous University city. You can even enjoy an iconic punt down the River Cam, and view the University buildings from the river. We then return to London.
